    Farmers\’s new CEO along with proven veteran agents and employees support is the reason for Farmers doing so well and getting bigger and better everyday. Agents, employees, and most importantly the customers like what they see.

    They do? Because they can\’t seem to keep agents here in Texas… I have 2 personal friends that have become Farmers agents only to finally call it quits after a year because of Farmers convoluded structure and strategy.

    $41 million in fact. FIG refused to pay their own claims adjusters for overtime work and the employees had to sue their own company for justice. Farmers lost that one too. Sure, you may have customers that like Farmers, they may even like their agent, but the fact is that in California, Farmers has fallen from third place to eighth place in just four years. Hope your dream world stays intact. Me? I went independent and left Farmers in 2002. The founders of Farmers Insurance are still rotating in their graves after Marty Feinstein gutted the company. I wish you luck. You\’ll need it.

    all carriers were sued (and lost) for this issue, NOT just FIG so get your facts straight. As an adjuster during that time, I still agree with the carrier position that we were exempt employees but it did not stop me from taking the settlement check. I will say Zurich/FIG is a lot better in claims service, payment of claims and customer service than AIG, Travelers and CNA.

    THANKS TO THE AWSOME CLAIMS ADJUSTERS AT FOREMOST. WHICH CARRIED THIS COMPANY FOR APPROX. 3 YRS AFTER FARMERS BOUGHT THEM OUT. FOREMOST MAY BE SMALL BUT HAVE THE BEST CLAIMS SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY…
