    Farmers insurance hired a former Progressive employee? I guess they dont know what to do with their auto product so they hire the competition’s product manager. Another employee jumps.

    The bottom line with Farmers is that they keeo getting caught, and paying there way out. Since Zurich has purchased Farmer’s they simple can not afford to do it right. Yes, every insurance company has a right to profit, however, Zurich takes it off the top (2.5 billion). This means to make a profit you must cut expenses (claims, experienced employees), and the result is they are not paying their claims, or their workers. I daho is a long way from their bread and butter California, but it appears by their complaints their business plan will keep spreading (North Dakota).

    Great! If Farmers really wants to get serious about being number one, they need to gut State Farms management team and let them run the company. So far the current team doean’t have a clue.

    Read my remarks from “Farmers Honors Fire Prevention Week” article. This is rediculous. People go to different companys and competitors all the time in different industries. Why is it so different here.

    Two words to describe the quality of that company and its managers;

    RAY WERSCHING

    “Wersching was indicted on March 22, 2006 for embezzling more than $8 million in insurance premiums”

    Does he still work for Farmers? Or was he terminated from his position? Every company has people that could, would, or has done illegal acts. Whats your point?

    “California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner announced today that the Department of Insurance has reached a settlement with Farmers Insurance Group on a noncompliance action. The settlement has resulted in $1.4 million in refunds to Farmers Homeowners Policyholders, and Farmers has agreed to pay an additional $2 million in fines.”

    Farmers Group is one of the worst companies in the industry and they prove it DAILY. Here is a press release from TODAY BRETT – They way you defend them, I assume you work there. Who CANT get hired by this group. What an embarrassment to our industry

    Actually I am an agent for them in the great state of Idaho. MY comments are for those who like to complain to complain. And again if you work for them then get out if you don’t like what is going on and if you don’twork for them, then you don’t need to be involved with them and keep your thought and your farmersinsurancegroupsucks.com to yourself. I know I don’t need to hear it I am pretty sure others out there are tired of it as well.

    So your point is Zurich has little interest in Farmers other than a source of top line income and they are crapping all over it by cutting employees and running, to some degree, without much control in place. This affirms my opinion of them. In Calif., I considered going to work for them but chose the independent route instead and am very, very pleased with my decision. Farmers reputation out here is that they will let ANYBODY with a pulse sell for them and they will put an agency anywhere even if it steps on another Farmers agent’s turf. Screw that..all you Farmers agents who want a much better life for you and your family need to leave that crap box and join the independent side. You can probably get some great appointments and start getting some respect. YOU WILL NEVER GET THAT BY WORKING FOR FARMERS…GO RAY WERSCHING
