    Rudderless Farmers Insurance is sure to follow with their rate cut. Capitulation where competition is lacking.

    NO WAY JOSE !!!! FIG INC is not interested in being competitive or increasing market share, as they have a +10% GWP goal so, they will most likely INCREASE prices in order to obtain this goal.

    State Farm will have to materially increase new business counts just to remain flat in overall premiums written. On a book of their size, rate increases are the only real effective way to grow. Of course, we assuming that gubenatorial candidate Poizner would let this happen with high profile carriers leading up to the election cycle.
