Is anyone other than me sick and tired of hearing about CA wildfires every year? Billions of dollars are wasted trying to contain them……..until next year when the game starts all over. Let the damn things burn themselves out so there won’t be anymore to burn. Then people can settle down and enjoy life. Most of the CA mountains are covered with scrub pines that aren’t exactly beautiful to begin with so there’s no big loss there. Locals willa argue they need the vegetation to keep the landslides under control. Maybe it’s time to re-assess the practicality of living in certain areas of CA. This is a waste of a lot of tax dollars.
I’ve been through a number of states that don’t look as good as the scraggly hills of Southern California & there are fire suppression efforts going on all the time there also. Obviously Liz doesn’t live in California.
Clearly Liz does not follow the news regarding the constant threat of fires in Georgia and Florida.
Regardless of where you live, natural disasters are going to be a way of life – you cannot just cram people into disaster free areas. You will always have the risk of fire, flood, quake, hurricane, and tornado. No matter where you are, you will have to contend with at least one of these risks.

Now go find something constructive to waste your breath on

What are hectares? or a kilovolt?

As DJ said, Liz go waste your breath elsewhere.
