Could it be because Christmas parties (IE: alcohol use) are generally scheduled around the 15th-18th. Perhaps Sept is Labor Day (more parties) and Feb 14th is Valentine’s Day?
These are interesting statistics but what is the point unless more precise survey’s are used to determine the true causes.
FOWIF – good observation you oviously are smarter then a 5rd grader. As for Alstate they needed to do deep research on this spend useless money to figure out the mix of the seasons causes accidents.
Gee… I live in TX, and ironically, my last accident was on Dec. 15th a few years ago. Just so happened it was a Sunday morning (around 9:30 a.m.) and I was hit by a drunk driver.
Maybe Allstate should expand their study to other states. Really add up the useless expenses.
Or could it be that sometimes, “$hit happens”… Hmmmmm?
This profound statistical event leaves the rest of the US with a prime oppportunity for social and political restructuring. We all know that human behavior is the largest hazard to insurance profits. We also know that California’s fiscal management is berift of substance. We are also aware that they have an abundant of supply of illegal (non-bonifides) residents. With their current political strength we are looking at a collosal California Bailout in the near future. Hear me out gentlemen, Now is the time we must reach out for that opportunity, Let us sell California back to the Mexican government and both countries could bask in their good fortune.
I guess they let Mayhem loose on Ca drivers that day. Go State!
shakey shakey

IMHO those Allstate ads are kinda creepy.
I’d rather watch the lizzard or Flo!
Someone needs to hit that Nationwide geek with the blue telephone… yeah, hit him WITH the blue telephone until he’s less dorky
Just goes to show that driver stupidity is repeatable & predictable.
I guess that means that Allstate issues more baseless denials from 12/15/10 accidents than any other day.
