This is responding to FT. The Sheriff’s Dept gun range is separated from the community of Dublin, CA first by the 9-to-12 ft tall hill behind the targets to absorb bullets fired on the range, and then a downhill slope toward a six-lane highway. Had not the cannonball bounced up and over the hill, it wouldn’t have gotten away.
And it would be more likely that the gun range was built AFTER the neighborhood was…
What kind of insurance policy would cover this? A general liability policy? Do you think it is Excess & Surplus or part of the production company’s larger corporate policy?
I would say that this would fall under the General Liability… Discovery Channel is liable for the damage to both home and auto involved. The surplus would cover more like the location where they mostly film. The contents and machinery if stolen or burned down ect.. Most of these would have to carry no less than 2,000,000 General Aggregate.
who lives right behind a gun range that allows cannon fire? Am I missing something?
Jamie like Big Boom
Thankfully the cannon wasn’t a Myth-ter Buster. Otherwise Jasbir would’ve been on a medical reality show for freak accidents, with a third ball.

I would think that the gun range was built long before the neighborhood….just like airports that once were WAY out of town.

I would think that it would have to be some sort of excess & surplus probably even a special event policy –
i hope we get to see the reaction of the guys on discovery channel.
I can just picture Jammie dead panning to the camera, “Well, that didn’t go as well as expected.”
I would say someone is living right. While it was an unfortunate accident, no one was hurt.
