And a law against concealed ray-guns just in case someone invents one.

Talk about a solution in search of a problem…. Mr. Lawmaker, let me take a wild guess here. You’re going to sell off some prime Arizona roads (which were paid for by the people of Arizona) to some robber-baron corporation, which will then extract fees from the people who paid for it in the first place. Socialize the risk and Privatize the Profits. Is this a great country or what?

It does seem that this bill is a little early. The toll road that is in discussion would be a new road, not existing, but Jim, you are right, something to watch for is to stop an existing road being converted to a toll road.

Too bad the reporter didn’t report what the proposed Az Bill number was so readers could locate and read the actual bill. Perhaps this was the reporters first article?

Also, allowing government confiscation of citizens vehicle’s for not paying a $3.oo toll to a private tolling corporation sounds fair because what other way could there possibly be to collect an unpaid toll?
