Honda was happy to pay $170 mil to preserve their good rep with owners? Wonder what percentage are going to be repeat customers…

I drive a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid and did join the suit – The car RARELY gets the mpg that was promised although the care DOES get great mileage – $200 seems hardly fair over the life of the car and the difference between what was advertised and what the reality is with mpg’s especially factoring in recent gas prices. I do intend to purchase another Honda at the end of this car’s life, and the rebate will come in handy when its time to trade in – probably won’t be going hybrid again tho-

What a travesty of justice – opting out of the class action lawsuit aside, Honda sold these hybrid cars at an inflated value-driven cost based on boasts and promises of phenominal gasoline mileage performance, and then has to pay $200. a car?? That $200. isn’t even worth a fraction of the cost of these cars.
