    Would love to know which carrier wrote the liability for these two US events. Probably had an Animal Exclusion, right?

      Serious question, at what point does assumption of risk come into play? It is a bull. It has horns. It runs fast. It might kill or maim you.

      Then again, I think of all of the brain dead idiots this summer at the Grand Canyon national park. A herd of wild elk–including several young calves–stopped to eat some grass at the park hotel. We cringed while watching myriad parents send their children to stand literally less than 10′ away from these animals for photo ops. It was as if they had NO CLUE these were large and wild animals that could kill their children in an instant. Yeah, lady, it’s a sweet cuddly teddy bear…why not tell your 5-year old kid to try to ride it?
