I wonder sometimes if I might fall into this category somehow, as a captive agent I am told what hours to work, how much to sell, what to sell, where to sell, how to arrange my office, my door is marked with defined, company set hours. Also, I am constantly under the scrutiny of a district manager who evaluates performance on standards he sets as well as those set by the company! I am graded on this every day (based on a scale A-D), fall below a B and they remind you of the 90 clause (to terminate) in the contract. Treated like an employee but called an independent contractor, hmmmmmm………
