I just wish the legislators would have worked with Uber and Lyft for a viable solution. The result of this legislation will be less access to transportation for many people.

I don’t know, the laws were pretty clear before Uber and Lyft became a thing, these companies decided to try and operate with an illegal business model. And they got away with it for a long time.

This would be like a factory polluting a town’s water supply and when sued to clean the water the company threatens to close the factory, removing hundreds of jobs from the small town, essentially holding the town hostage.
