Who compensates insurance companies when the trends go the other way and the roads become more crowded and other trends increase losses per exposure. Can anybody sue any company in any industry if business conditions become more favorable. For instance, if the price of beef decreases, can I sue my local restaurant for being more profitable? Can I take legal action against the attorneys for their fees because they have less expenses due to lower commuting costs during the pandemic?
Farmers issued refunds, and then raised rates, and we are now in the midst of verifying mileage, perhaps a decrease? Hardly.
