This is a great accomplishment to have this study of Insurance in the high school level, trades should be offered more in high schools to give the children the education base, being prepared with knowledge as they go out into the work world.
Thank You National Alliance for launching. Please branch out to other states.
This is an awesome opportunity for high school students! Hopefully it will be successful and rolled out into other states. I was exposed to the insurance industry my senior year of high school when I participated in our co-op program. I went to school in the mornings and a job to learn office skills and etiquette in the afternoons. It just so happened I was assigned to a local regional insurance company. They allowed me to participate in the in house classes they offered and at the end of the school year offered me a full time position. Had that not happened I would not have found the insurance industry. I can truly and honestly say I do love my career and there isn’t anything else I would rather do after 26 years!
Like everyone else who’s posted here, I think this is a great idea and hopefully will cause a pipeline of a qualified workforce who can effectively jump into the industry as soon as they graduate. Here’s hoping this succeeds and will not just be limited to TX in the near future!
This is a very valuable service to kids and the industry. We need this in every state.
Agreed! We are excited at the potential of this program and what it can do for the future generation of insurance and risk professionals.
We need this in Colorado!!!!
We want this program in every state!
