This was an extemely timely tip for our agency. We have a client who is asking for a certificate of insurance with an AI. The AI is an owner of a project with one exception, and we question why the non-owner needed to be an AI. The answer we received, “it is one of our requirements” and that “other COI’s were issued with this AI without a problem”. This gives me some ammo as to why not to do it.
