Zywave, Intygral

Insurance software provider Zywave has completed the asset purchase of Intygral, a provider of automated marketing for property/casualty personal lines brokers.

The Intygral system provides automated, industry-specific prospecting campaigns.

As part of the agreement, Intygral customers will be introduced to Zywave’s suite of products.

Zywave says more than 3,000 brokerages worldwide use its products.

Originally known as Astonish, Intygral switched to its new name earlier this year.

AssuredPartners, Founders Insurance

AssuredPartners Inc. announced its acquisition of Founders Insurance Group, an independent agency with locations in Torrington and Lakeville, Conn. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founders Insurance Group has been providing commercial property/casualty, group health and life benefits and personal insurance services for more than a century. The agency’s staff and leadership will continue to operate from their existing locations in Torrington and Lakeville. AssuredPartners said it would be bringing on 26 employees with Founders.

Brown & Brown, RF Ougheltree

Brown & Brown Inc. announced that its wholesale brokerage division, Hull & Co., has acquired certain assets of RF Ougheltree & Associates LLC in Lyndhurst, N.J. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RF Ougheltree & Associates is a specialty intermediary focused solely on executive and professional liability insurance for public and privately held companies. The firm has annual revenues of approximately $1 million.

Following the transaction, founder Bob Ougheltree and members of the RF Ougheltree team will continue as part of Hull’s operations in New Jersey.

World Insurance, Bux-Mont Agency

World Insurance Associates LLC, an independent insurance agency based in Tinton Falls, N.J., acquired Bux-Mont Agency Ltd. in Southampton, Pa. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bux-Mont Agency is a personal lines agency serving the Bucks County and surrounding regions in eastern Pennsylvania. Bux-Mont Agency’s principals Bill Eller and Ron Heimbach and the firm’s three employees will relocate to World Insurance Associates’ Feasterville, Pa., location.

Sentry Insurance, Hortica

Sentry Insurance, headquartered in Stevens Point, Wis., and Edwardsville, Ill.-based Hortica Insurance (Florists’ Mutual Insurance Co.) have joined forces. Hortica is now a member of the Sentry Insurance Group.

Hortica, which specializes in the floral industry, will maintain its name and brand and will continue doing business from its current headquarters.

Integro Ltd., Lemme Insurance Group

Integro Ltd. has acquired Lemme Insurance Group Inc., based in Arlington Heights, Ill. Details of the deal were not disclosed.

Lemme provides specialty insurance brokerage services to U.S. and Canadian accounting, consulting and law firms. It focuses solely on the insurance needs of professional services firms, which includes professional liability, employment practices/management liability and cyber liability coverage.

Lemme’s team will lead Integro’s national practice for professional services firms and will remain in the Chicago area.

Hub International, Group Benefit Specialists

Hub International Limited (Hub) has acquired Group Benefit Specialists (GBS), a Wichita, Kan.-based employee benefits brokerage. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The GBS team will continue to operate from their existing office in Wichita. Mark Isley, president of GBS, will join Hub International in his same capacity, and report to Trey Biggs, president and CEO of Hub operations in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

MedPro Group, PLICO Inc.

Berkshire Hathaway’s MedPro Group has agreed to acquire Oklahoma healthcare liability insurer PLICO Inc., which is owned by the Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA).

The boards of each entity have approved OSMA’s sale to MedPro of 100 percent ownership of PLICO in an all-cash transaction. Terms were not disclosed.

Based in Oklahoma City, PLICO has annualized gross written premiums of about $30 million.

PLICO’s principal operations will remain in Oklahoma City.

USI, Alexander & Associates

USI Insurance Services (USI) has acquired the property/casualty business of Alexander & Associates Insurance Services LLC (Alexander & Associates) in El Paso, Texas.

The Alexander & Associates team, including Jay D. Alexander, Alexander & Associates’ president, will join USI’s El Paso office.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
