Ref Article News & Markets; Property Market Stayed Stable in Q1…..I can tell this person that put this article together hasn’t been in the midwest at all. Our property market started being a problem before the 1st of the year and now with our Tornados happening weekly, we will be lucky to find a market, even with high deductibles. I have 20+ regular markets and only 1 or 2 of them will entertain a property account even without losses. I hope my insured’s do not have access to this article, it will make our job as marketing people (agency) harder to place any coverage on buildings. I have been in this P&C business since 1958(yes I know I am old as the hills) and never have seen this hard of a property market – liability yes, but not property.
