    Unfortunately, being male and only just passed your test and being 17 you’re going to have prttey high insurance for a good year, if not more. I know it sucks, but that’s the way it is.Either that or you’ve decided to buy a car with a high engine size or some flash car, that will wack your insurance up alot.I recommend you buying an older car (not brand new) that is below a 1.4 engine size to get cheaper insurance.When I passed my test back in 2003 (I was 17) the cheapest quote I got was a3700 (Third party fire and theft) and that was for a 1992 Vauxhall Nova 1.2 so yeah.I am now 23 with nearly 6 years no claims bonus’s, have a Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec it costs me a3250 fully comp not bad if I say so myself!Check out Tescos insurance, they always do good prices and beat everyone else.References :
