Is there a definitive description of a “drone” or UAV? I mean how is it distinguished from a “hobby” or “model” aircraft that might be considered a toy? If I recall, the ISO HO-2 form covers the later, but would a larger drone or UAV be considered included in that exception for aircraft liability, if owned operated by an individual for non-commercial purposes?

Is there a line in the sand drawn by type of engine, engine capacity or output, range, or max altitude/speed?

    Anybody?
