William J. Hall, production underwriter for Middlesex Mutual Assurance Co., has been named this year’s recipient of the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut Inc.’s Company Professional of the Year award.
The formal presentation will take place March 15 at PIACT’s annual convention, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket.
PIACT presents the award to the company representative who its members say best fosters a sound working relationship between insurance agents and companies, and who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism and service as a company representative.
Hall handles the marketing and agency management and new business underwriting at Middlesex Mutual. He earned the company’s Star Performer award in 2002 and 2003. Hall also represented Middlesex Mutual on the Connecticut Automobile Insurance Assigned Risk Plan’s Governing Committee.
“He has won this recognition from the independent agents with whom he works<' commented Jeffrey Parmenter, PIACT president. "They told us that his knowledge is exceptional and how he goes the extra mile to represent his company."
Prior to joining Middlesex, Hall was an underwriting supervisor with The Hartford Insurance Co. While working at The Hartford, he was awarded nine top performer awards.
