“We want to stay in business in Florida in all lines,” Liddy said in a Feb. 3 meeting to report annual earnings. “It’s a big state, it’s a growing state. People want to live where its warm. So we really want to stay in the state of Florida.
But we cannot lose, on an after-tax basis, a billion and a half dollars every 10 years. That is just not a viable proposition.”
