Bollinger, Inc., one of the country’s largest insurance brokers, has acquired two New Jersey insurance agencies. The agencies are The Peter Duffy Agency, in Green Village, and Patchett, Grode & Topp, in Wyckoff.
The Peter Duffy Agency, a surety bond specialty agency, will relocate to Bollinger’s headquarters in Short Hills, N.J. Peter Duffy is an expert in the field of surety bonds and serves many large construction firms. This acquisition will expand Bollinger’s presence in this specialty area.
Patchett, Grode & Topp is a personal and commercial lines agency employing 22 professionals in its Wyckoff office. John Topp will continue as a consultant to his many clients.
Bollinger, which reports having commission revenues in excess of $100 million and 465 employees, is an employee owned business. Headquartered in Short Hills, Bollinger has branch offices in New York City, Philadelphia, Princeton, Moorestown and Vineland, N.J. The firm provides business and personal insurance to a range of customers, as well as specialty insurance programs for golf and country clubs, amateur sports, and schools and colleges.
