New York police say a construction worker is dead after falling four stories off a scaffold in Brooklyn earlier this week.
Fifty-year-old Houssain (HU’-Sain) Mosharrf (Mo-SHAR’-uf) fell at about 2:05 p.m. Monday. He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Brooklyn man was working on a six-story building at 789 St. Marks Ave.
There have been a spate of deadly construction accidents this year that have left more than two dozen workers dead. On Friday, a giant crane collapsed, killing two workers and injuring a third.
