A day after a multiple-vehicle pileup on Interstate 93, car owners were calling insurance companies and examining their wrecked cars.
More than 100 people were injured in Sunday’s pileup, none of them seriously. The crash happened around 9 a.m. between exits 3 and 4 in Derry and temporarily shut down a stretch of the highway’s northbound lanes.
Police said 46 cars, eight trucks, three buses and two tractor-trailers were involved in the pileup. Many of those caught in the middle said they were thankful they weren’t seriously hurt.
State police said operator and passenger information is being verified and they are seeking any new information on the pileup.
