You know it sounds like everything but the union representation is chit chat. The employer should have known better there. So by the same token shouldn’t the employer be able to say what he thinks about his charming employee on facebook? Surely that would only be fair. But does that really matter? Probably not.

What does the 3rd paragraph mean? Quality control on the documents needs upgrading. Write slower and proofread your content more closely, please?

I think it’s supposed to say:

The National Labor Relations Act permits employees to DISCUSS the terms and conditions of their employment with co-workers and others.

Perhaps their employee handbook should say: While on the clock, you will work and not surf the net (the new talking around the water cooler.)

Perhaps the fact that she was on Facebook during working hours prompted her boss to tell her to get back to work at which time she promptly posted he negative remarks about her boss who was telling her to get back to work and stop goofing off.

Why does she not hide her wall comments from the public?

Lets see, You can bash your employer who pays your salary online and for the whole world to see, What if the employee was behind the counter at work and told a customer that the company stinks and does not pay well and you should probably go elsewhere. Hmmmmm. Would that be acceptable? Or stands up from their desk and screams my boss is a moron! Our Country has gone way overboard in pushing for Union control of everything. God help us and our level of customer service that we will have in the future. No way are we going to compete with employers in other countries. Just look at the results of our educational system, THANK YOU UNIONS.
