Penn State willingly accepted the NCAA sactions. The NCAA did not give Penn State the “death penalty” either. Furthermore, they do not support the Gov. acting as a lone wolf on this very wierd move. So, what’s up the Governor? Sounds like a political play. It’s amazing how a someone can actually make the NCAA the good guy. But, that’s what Tom Corbet is doing here. He must be up for re-election. If I lived in PA I would volunteer on whatever campaign opposes him and I’ve never volunteered in a politcal campaign before.

Penn State accepted willingly, like one willingly hands over ones wallet to an armed robber.

But on your other point, the Governor probably is looking for political points but he will have trouble beating anyone in the next election (unless Sandusky is his opponent).

Tom Corbett doesn’t think child rape is a big deal.
