As might be expected, “saving the children” is cited by liberal politicians as a reason for enacting more legislation that is now strangling our freedoms, and threatens to take over control of aanyhting and everything we do (or say, or think) in our lives. A poor excuse for those who think they know better than we, who are just “ordinary” citizens. What makes them so much smarter? Being a “politician” is more often than not means one who is self-centered, interested in their own ambitions, and the accumulation of power and wealth – legal or otherwise. Now they come after pets!
In other words: the dog is guilty until proven innocent. Once that concept is fully established, we can expect it to be applied to other animals, including humans.
It is certainly regrettable that pit bulls have caused such havoc and so much injury. But we can’t pass a law everytime some folks get hurt. If we did, we’d not be able to do much of anything.
I think all of these efforts are a means of creating the liberal’s goal of a utopian society where they get to rule and call all the shots and no one can argue with them because they know best. In their utopia, their “rights” are the only ones that would count (no one would be allowed to oppose them) and the rest of us would just have to follow along.
Well, I’ve got news for them. They’re not Peter Pan and we’re not just a bunch of rats.

Its not the pit bull that is causing the havoc. It’s their owner…. the poor dog is doing what it was trained by their owner to do.
