Wow! Being accused of not having WC Coverage for your company is a TRULY devasting injury to your family that must be compensated for all the heartache suffered. A travesty!

      Good grief, sheeple!

in my experience with the NY WCB – your business will be told it has no insurance if you use the wrong font in the policy issuance process.

Having had to deal with continuing POC issues with the NY WCB, I do understand their point of view in cracking down on employers who go without WC. That hurts all of us in insurance. Having said that, the sheer amount of fines that accumulate can cause a lot of arm wrestling between insured, agent and company to mitigate the penalty and is a bitter pill to swallow when the intention was to cover an exposure in NY and for whatever reason the paperwork was not handled in an expedient manner. Not the WCB fault, but still – there needs to be a middle ground for legitimate issues.

    Just my two cents

I have found that NY makes errors often enough and create a lot of scrambling around and angst with policyholders. This has got to be complicated and errors do happen. It seems that NY in my experience with a national insurance carrier has the most fire drills.

Hey Catherine- Jim Carrey is a leftist jerk who has no good name to lose. He used to be funny but now I ignore him completely.
