So what great idea do the politicians have for accidents (of which there are many) where an auto is hit in the rear? Do we let the kids suffer the broken necks? Maybe we just prohibit people from placing their kids in any car or vehicle until they reach the age of 17 or so. Maybe we can devise seat belt and harness arrangements that hold the kids in place in the event of either front or rear end accidents. Or just maybe we can get the government out of every single aspect of our lives – and have government correct all of its own problems and failures?
Again, someone telling us what is best because apparently, the public has no clue how to protect our children. Geez, I wonder how I was able to live 58 years on my own.

I’ve been under the impression since I first drove there that NJ had a similar law on the books requiring drivers seats to face rearward.
