Why not, like your ideas to ‘service’ your existing clients instead of focusing so much on new business, do the same with employees: Service them.. Admit that insurance is no longer the exciting industry it once was and therefore will not appeal to graduates and the like etc. Its time to train and develop what you have. Making CII certificates in insurance compulsary to all those at the foot of the hierarchy would be a start. There are plenty of budgets available to fund such and would begin to create the ‘knowledge led industry’ that at the moment, is not.
