Patrick Mallet, President and CEO of Paris-based Mobility Saint-Honore, announced the acquisition of Norfolk International Group of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Company said it plans to merge Norfolk into its Canadian subsidiary, MSH Canada, based in Montreal, “to form a new North American company called Norfolk Mobility Benefits, Inc.”
The bulletin explained: “Mobility Saint-Honore is one of the largest and most comprehensive suppliers of expatriate insurance services in the world, with more than 160,000 insured participants. A subsidiary of Assurance et Conseils Saint- Honore, which is part of the LCF Rothschild Group, it is the only expatriate insurance third party administrator with the prestigious ISO rating.
“Norfolk International Group is North America’s leading provider of worldwide, customized expatriate insurance solutions. Solutions range from basic travel insurance to all of the benefits and services required for long term expatriate assignments. Founded 20 years ago, the firm has offices in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, Houston and Milwaukee.”
Mallet commented: “The purchase of Norfolk International by Mobility Saint-Honore will expand the company’s scope in the Americas, thereby enhancing the range of services, expertise and protection available to the growing number of North Americans living and working abroad.”
The head office for the new company will be in Calgary and Richard Albert, currently President of Norfolk International Group, will serve as President and CEO.
