May 8, 2006

Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. announced the election of Paul M. Wolff and Peter M. Bennett to serve on its Board of Directors. Following their addition the Board now consists of nine directors, “as Robbert Hartog, who had served on the Board since 2001, has retired,” said the bulletin.

Wolff is a partner with the law firm of Williams & Connolly LLP, and served as a member of that firm’s executive committee for ten years. Mr. Wolff is a director of the Economic Club of Washington and a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Federal City Council, and has served as a director of numerous non-profit and philanthropic organizations. A Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the American Law Institute, Mr. Wolff is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Harvard Law School.

Bennett has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. He was President of Canadian International Reinsurance Brokers from 1972 until 1984, when that company merged with LeBlanc Eldridge Parizeau to become BEP International. At that time, he became Chairman of BEP International’s Canadian operation. Upon BEP’s merger with Aon Corporation, Mr. Bennett became Deputy Chairman of Aon Re Canada, and he has continued to serve on its board since his retirement in 2004.

President and CEO Andrew A. Barnard commented, “I am very pleased to welcome Paul and Peter to our Board of Directors. They will bring a breadth of experience and insight that will be of great value to OdysseyRe. I would also like to thank Robbert Hartog for his wise counsel and contributions to our Board over the years.”
