Marsh Names Bagnall Sales and Development Leader of London FINPRO Office

January 9, 2007

Marsh has appointed David Bagnall as new sales and business development leader in the London office of its Financial and Professional Services Practice (FINPRO), the broker’s worldwide professional services division. He will be responsible for growing the business at a UK and international level.

Bagnall joins Marsh from the law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he was Global Head of Bank Relationships, focused on key client management in the investment and commercial banking sectors. His previous roles have also included a wide range of business development and marketing roles for both Andersen and Deloitte.

Bagnall commented: “The ever-broadening scope of regulation and oversight for financial services companies and professional services firms means that the risks they face are becoming increasingly complex. As part of the Marsh team, I look forward to working with clients to come up with innovative solutions to these challenges.”

Roy White, practice leader for FINPRO in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, added: “David brings with him a wealth of business development experience gained from industry sectors where FINPRO provides specialist insurance services and advice. His sales and marketing experience, coupled with his in-depth knowledge and understanding of banks, law firms, accountancy firms and other financial and professional firms, will be a great asset to Marsh and its clients.”
