Roger Walsom has been appointed non-executive director of the UK’s Miller Insurance Investments Limited and Miller Insurance Services Limited.
He replaces Ronald Gould, who stood down last September to take up the role of chief executive of Chi-X Asia/Pacific. Walsom will also join the Miller audit and risk committees.
Walsom, a lawyer, also has insurance industry experience. He became a partner at Ashurst, a leading London law firm, where he specialised in the financial services industry.
He retired in April 2005, but continues to work as a consultant. He is currently a non-executive director of Invesco Income Growth Trust plc and St. James’s Place plc. His previous experience includes a non-executive directorship of the Pensions Regulator.
