Aon Benfield announced the launch of its latest innovative platform, named “MarketReView.” The bulletin described the new platform as a “secure, web-based portal” that “provides insurers with comprehensive information on reinsurers and the reinsurance market.”
It “combines the most recently reported reinsurer financials with data from the capital markets and four of the top rating agencies.” In addition it “receives data streams from A.M. Best, SNL Financial and Standard & Poor’s, and thus incorporates the very latest ratings and financial information, as well as the most up-to-date market insights from Aon Benfield’s award-winning Research team.”
Mike McClane, Managing Director and Head of Aon Benfield Research for the U.S. and Bermuda, explained: “MarketReView is designed to make researching market information easy and efficient and is our go to site for comprehensive information on our reinsurance partners. It contains financial information, ratings and analysis on all key reinsurers worldwide, representing all the major markets and the vast majority of worldwide reinsurance premium. Our proprietary Market Profile Reports and Market News provide detailed analytical reporting on key markets, helping our clients to make informed decisions for their businesses.”
The bulletin also noted that the portal “provides links between the ultimate holding company and its operating entities to offer users a more complete picture of the financial health of both the reinsurer and its group.”
The MarketReView platform is “accessed through Aon Benfield’s proprietary platform, ABConnect, which will also offer a full range of account handling features, including information on contracts, claims, accounting and payments, as well as other related documents.”
