The newly acquired Lloyd’s ANV Syndicate announced the opening of its Accident and Health (A&H) business. The business was “previously authorized as part of Syndicate 1861’s 2012 business plan and in alignment with the ANV team’s focus on building its core underwriting foundation across all lines,” said the bulletin.
The A&H business “will be staffed by a selection of experienced underwriters lead by Dale Willetts and to include Andrew Fuller and Lisa Skinner,” who have a combined total of over 30 years of market experience.
ANV Syndicate’s Underwriting Director Richard Housley commented: “With the acquisition of the syndicate completed and with the full support of ANV Group going forward, we are very pleased to be moving into operation with this A&H business and to begin building the strength of the syndicate in all the lines of business where we are authorized.”
