Allied World Global Markets Appoints Lisi to Augment Healthcare Team

November 11, 2015

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings AG announced that Allied World Global Markets has expanded its healthcare team with the appointment of Emma Lisi as assistant vice president. She will be based in Allied World’s London office.

Lisi has over 13 years’ experience in the medical malpractice industry with Marketform, the approved Lloyd’s managing agency, where she held a number of roles, Allied World said in a statement.

Starting as an underwriter’s assistant, she moved quickly through the ranks and during the last few years had responsibility for developing relationships with coverholders and brokers and growing the U.K. and international books, both organically and through the development of new products.

“Emma joins us at an exciting time. As the healthcare landscape is becoming increasingly complex and providers are facing a raft of new or greater exposures, we are expanding our offerings for hospitals and other healthcare organizations in the U.K., Asia and Australia,” said Peter Ford, senior vice president – healthcare for Allied World Global Markets.

“Emma’s deep underwriting experience, ranging from individual practitioners to multi‐surgical entities both in the UK and abroad, will be valuable as we seek to help our clients navigate these changes and grow our business,” Ford added.
