Chubb Names Country Presidents to Lead Continental European Operations

Chubb has appointed the country presidents who will lead its operations in Continental Europe, with immediate effect.

The country presidents will report to Jeff Moghrabi, division president, Continental Europe. These and other appointments in the region are listed below:

  • France.Nadia Côté, formerly country president for ACE in France, will serve as country president for Chubb in France and will continue to be based in Paris.

Gwenaël Hervé will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in France and will work with Nadia on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Germanics (Germany and Austria).Andreas Wania, formerly country president for ACE in Germany, will serve as country president for Chubb’s Germanics region and will continue to be based in Frankfurt.

In addition, Bijan Daftari has been appointed to the new position of property & casualty manager for Chubb in the Germanics. He will also continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Germany and will work with Wania on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months. Daftari will report to Wania and to Steven Reiss, chief operating officer for Chubb in Continental Europe.

Walter Lentsch, formerly country president for ACE in Austria will serve as country president for Chubb in Austria, reporting to Wania.

  • Iberia (Spain and Portugal).Veronique Brionne, formerly country president for ACE in Iberia, will serve as country president for Chubb in Iberia, and will continue to be based in Madrid.

Carlos Peña will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Iberia and will work with Brionne on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Italy.Orazio Rossi, formerly country president for ACE in Italy, will serve as country president for Chubb in Italy and will continue to be based in Milan.

Stefano Vincoli will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Italy and will work with Rossi on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg).Ron Verhulsdonck, formerly country president for ACE in Benelux, will serve as country president for Chubb in Benelux and will continue to be based in Rotterdam.

Monique Kooijman will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in the Netherlands and will work with Verhulsdonck on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Switzerland.Florian Eisele, formerly country manager for legacy Chubb in Switzerland, will serve as country president for Chubb in Switzerland and will continue to be based in Zurich. Eisele’s appointment remains subject to regulatory approval.

Florian Mueller will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy ACE business in Switzerland and will work with Eisele on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland).Bror Sandas, formerly country president for ACE in the Nordics will serve as country president for Chubb in the Nordics, and will continue to be based in Stockholm.

Bjorn Petersen will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Scandinavia and will work with Sandas on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

  • Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary.Przemyslaw Owczarek, formerly country president for ACE in Poland with additional responsibility for Hungary and Czech Republic, will serve as country president for Chubb in Poland, with responsibility for Hungary and Czech Republic. Owczarek will continue to be based in Warsaw.
