Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced that Robert Schaetti will join the Zurich branch of Everest Re Group as head of Casualty Underwriting.
Schaetti joins Everest Re from Partner Re where he most recently served as head of liability and medical malpractice for Europe. Prior to joining Partner Re in 2002, Schaetti had held underwriting positions with AXA Winterthur. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry with nearly 20 years working as a casualty underwriter. Robert holds a degree as a certified business economist from Kaderschule Zurich.
Andrew Carrier, head of Everest European Operations, commented: “We see Robert’s arrival as a first step of broadening our product offering to clients and brokers as we build out our enhanced European strategy.”
