Illinois-based Horace Mann Educators Corp. will continue to provide professional liability insurance for the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest professional employee organization, representing 2.6 million teachers and other educators. The contract extension is for five years.
The liability insurance underwritten by Horace Mann and effective Sept. 1, 2002 protects NEA members from personal financial liability as a result of certain occurrences arising in the course of their employment.
