Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (SIS) announced the certification of Des Moines, Iowa-based EMC Insurance Companies for WebLink with their SEMCI Partner agency management system. According to SIS, WebLink enables agencies to lookup their policyholder information on the carrier Web site in one click resulting in two important benefits — time and security.
WebLink saves time because agencies don’t have to re-enter time consuming details such as their passwords, policy numbers, named insured, date of policies or what type of inquiries they are making. WebLink sends this information encrypted for security and includes all the necessary details for the carrier site to open the specific policy and its inquiry screen as requested.
EMC agencies can now link directly from a policy in the SEMCI Partner systems to their company Web site for a variety of inquiries, including policy inquiry, billing inquiry, and claim inquiry.
Introduced in December 2002, SIS WebLink has already proven to significantly reduce the time it takes agency personnel to respond to their clients’ common questions.
