Deerfield, Ill.-based LewisCo Group, a national provider of specialized resources for disability, absence and productivity management for insurers and employers, announced that Jack Stone joined the company as regional vice president of business development. Stone brings with him more than 23 years of experience in risk management services.
Prior to joining LewisCo Group, Stone was regional vice president of sales and marketing for Octagon Risk Services, a subsidiary of CompManagement and formerly a member of the St. Paul Co., in Chicago.
There he led a group that introduced workers’ compensation and medical professional liability claims management and consulting services to the Midwest market. Before his position with Octagon, Stone was the director of business development for Sedgwick Claims Management Services in Chicago, where he worked with employers to address workers’ compensation, liability, integrated disability management and other claims management and productivity service needs.
Stone, a recognized expert on workers’ compensation and disability management, has spoken at a number of seminars and conferences, including the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference and the International Federation of Employee Benefit Plans.
