Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger and the Kansas Insurance Department (KID) are preparing for the 2004 Kansas Insurance Institute. This educational institute in Overland Park, Kan., offers a unique opportunity for insurance agents, attorneys and financial examiners to earn continuing education credits on a variety of topics affecting the insurance industry, both on a statewide and national level. The entire event is organized and offered by KID.
Agents and attorneys can attend a full day of seminars and lectures on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004. Agents are eligible to earn up to five continuing education credits. Attorneys can earn up to four continuing legal education credits. Financial examiners will have an expanded curriculum offered Feb. 25-27, with up to 15.5 continuing regulatory education credits (approved by the Society of Financial Examiners) available.
