Ohio-based regional insurer Westfield Insurance has named Richard A. Gajda executive of special risk/workers’ compensation, the company said in a statement. His responsibilities include managing the overall results of the company’s workers’ compensation line of business and developing company strategy and direction for workers’ compensation on a state-by-state basis.
Gajda began his career at Westfield in 2002 as commercial lines product director. Prior to joining Westfield, Gajda served as senior vice president and regional manager at Fremont Compensation Insurance Co.
Westfield operates in 26 states and has 1,200 appointed agencies.
