A division of Chicago-based online broker InsuranceNoodle has introduced a new Internet-based small business workers’ compensation insurance program for agencies in Indiana in Michigan.
The division, InsureVianet, is based in Bloomfield, Conn., and is using “A+”-rated carriers Xl Specialty Insurance Co. and Greenwich Insurance Co.
InsureVianet’s technology allows agents and brokers to enter underwriting data with no paper submission, receive real-time quotes and proposals, make purchases online and service policies online.
The program will be offered both separately and along with its proprietary and innovative Employment Practices Liability (EPL) program designed for businesses with 100 or fewer employees.
The program, which premiered in Illinois last year, is expected to roll out in several more states during the coming months, the company said in a statment.
