Chicago-based benefits administrator Mullin Consulting Inc. has appointed Stephen G. Barry as senior managing consultant, according to CEO Jim Clary
Clary said Barry’s 20 years’ experience with benefits programs for large and mid-sized companies would prove to be an asset to Mullin.
Barry’s responsibilities include consulting with corporate clients on designing, implementing, funding and monitoring financial aspects of nonqualified executive benefit plans.
Barry was previously employed by the Winterthur Life insurance subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group where he served as vice president overseeing client and producer relationships in North America. Previous to this position, he was the Midwest regional director of Swiss Life, where he worked on global employee benefit programs for U.S. multinational companies, including Fortune 500 corporations.
He spent the bulk of his career at Watson Wyatt, where he served corporate clients in the design, financing, market practice and compliance issues of U.S. retirement plans, later becoming an international consultant providing advice to corporate clients on all aspects of employee benefits on a global scale.
