Burns & Wilcox has appointed Chad Brown as a broker for the company’s Kansas City branch.
As a Burns & Wilcox broker, Brown is responsible for the placement of large, complex property and casualty and environmental risks for the company’s network of agents. Brown operates out of the company’s Kansas City, Kan., branch in collaboration with the Burns & Wilcox St. Louis office. The expansion represents Burns & Wilcox’s continuing growth strategy to offer global resources through local service centers.
Brown joins Burns & Wilcox with previous experience as an account manager with Partner’s Specialty Group in Kansas City, Mo., as well as an internship with the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO). The Southwest Missouri State University graduate earned a bachelor of science degree in insurance and risk management. Brown holds an Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designation and is a licensed Missouri Insurance producer.
