Mo. Shield Insurance Program for Police, Firefighters Offers Online Application

St. Louis, Mo.-based The Shield Insurance, a preferred homeowners and auto insurance program designed exclusively for police, firefighters and EMS, now offers a new online application.

Stuckey and Company’s CEO, Dwight Stuckey, says, “We believe that this will help eligible civil servants enter only the required information quickly and accurately.”

The Shield Insurance Program is designed with multi-line and protective credits. Stuckey and Company has applied a special credit of up to 40 percent for police and firefighters. The program also includes coverage enhancements such as a $6,500 firearms limit, credit card fraud and identity theft protection. The Shield Insurance Program’s auto coverage also provides free roadside assistance, a disappearing deductible, a lifetime repair guarantee, and a $10,000 supplemental death benefit.

A “tabbed” application includes pre-filled text boxes, drop down lists
and check boxes to offer the tailored coverage for the best possible price.The application is streamlined so it takes less than 10 minutes to complete. It is suggested to have prior coverage information, drivers
license and automobile information available while completing an insurance application. The new online application allows up to 4 personally owned vehicles, four eligible drivers and one owned or rented home to be submitted into The Shield Insurance Program. All eligible for the program can access additional information and the new online application at http://www.theshieldinsurance.com.

The Shield Insurance Program is available to everyone at the police
department, from the dispatcher to the police chief. Firefighter
eligibility includes everyone at the station, from the fire fighter to the
fire chief. All EMS personnel are also eligible.
