Mercator Risk Adds New Senior Vice President, Midwest Casualty

New York-based Mercator Risk Services, a newly formed, independent wholesale insurance broker, has added Michael Connelly as senior vice president and manager of the Midwest Casualty practice.

Prior to joining Mercator, Connelly was vice president of American Wholesale Insurance Group (AmWINS), responsible for all aspects of the marketing and placement of general liability and umbrella/excess liability insurance programs for retail brokerage clients. Before entering the wholesale insurance sector, Connelly was a national retail broker with a proven track record and long-standing customer relationships, according to Mercator's written statement.
