Lockton, a privately held independent insurance broker, announced today that it has added Mark Harris as a senior vice president and producer in its Chicago operation. Harris will be responsible for business development and client advocacy for law firms and other professional service firms.
Harris joins Lockton from Marsh where he spent the past 12 years in various sales roles, including most recently a position in Marsh’s National Producer Group. He is a Lloyd’s of London broker with extensive experience in providing insurance, employee benefits and risk management counsel to his clients.
Prior to the insurance business, Harris was one of four founding partners in the London-based financial services public relations and marketing firm Citigate Marketing. He was previously in the financial public relations business where he worked for the former London Stock Exchange press relations officer. Harris began his career in the Royal Air Force.
