Ohio Casualty Offers New Personal Lines Technology Products for Agents

February 28, 2008

Ohio Casualty, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, recently announced the introduction of its new personal lines product offering in Ohio, including enhanced rating capabilities via Personal IQ, the company’s new, web-based interface application for quoting and policy issuance.

By more than doubling the price points to one hundred, appointed agents in Ohio now have the capability to generate quotes that are both competitive in price and appropriate to customers’ specific risk characteristics.

Personal lines policy features include:

• Diminishing deductibles for homeowners and auto collision coverage to reward loss-free experience;
• Customer loyalty discount for long time policyholders;
• New home buyer, home renovation and non-smoker discounts;
• Expanded ultra plus endorsement for homeowner policies, which includes ID theft coverage and 125 percent replacement cost coverage;
• First claim forgiveness up to $10,000 on auto policies; and,
• Homeowner and auto package discount, with further cross-policy discounts for policyholders who remain claims-free.

In recognition of their contribution to inspire children through education, Ohio Casualty is also offering an educator’s discount (5 percent for homeowner policies, 3 percent for auto policies) to all licensed Ohio teachers and administrators.

Later in 2008, Ohio Casualty agents in Kentucky and Pennsylvania will also have access to Personal IQ and Ohio Casualty’s new personal lines products. Ohio agents who wish to learn more about the new personal lines products with enhanced rating may contact Scott Wick, manager, Personal Lines Agency Management, Ohio Casualty at 513-576-3529 or e-mail him at scott.wick@ohiocasualty-ins.com.
